POSITION DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of the Admissions and Assessments Management Supervisor, the responsibilities of this position are to respond to and screen all referral calls, assist with walk in referrals, provide community and referral information for referrals that are not appropriatefor Regional Center services, schedule assessments for the admission and assessment process, monitor timelines, handle phone calls/requests regarding inactive and closed cases as well as those currently going through the Admissions and Assessment process, input data for new referrals, complete reminder calls, schedule appointments with consultants for active clients and secure charts for up-coming scheduled appointments and perform duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of individuals with developmental disabilities
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with public and staff
- Must be able to interact with others from a wide variety of cultural and social backgrounds
- Must be able to multi-task and set priorities
- Must be able to meet strict documentation timelines
- Knowledge of word processing software (Microsoft Word) is required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
AA degree or equivalent in units, with at least 12 units of course work in Human Services, Child Development, Psychology, Sociology, Education, or Humanities and/or any combination of training and/or experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Employees using a private vehicle for agency purposes must maintain a valid driver’s license and minimum liability insurance coverage.

SALARY
Hourly: $17.10 to $26.39
Bi-weekly: $ 1,368.00 to $2,111.20
Monthly: $2,736.00 to $4,222.40
Annually: $35,568 to $54,891.20
Lateral transfer or 6 % Promotional Increase
