Service providers are vendored by the Regional Center in whose catchment area the provider is located. “Vendor” and “provider” are the words used to describe the community of professionals who provide direct services to people with developmental disabilities through contracts with regional centers. Before vendors can provide and be reimbursed for services, they must go through an approval and contracting process with their local regional center known as “vendorization”.
Interested service providers are encouraged to review the How Do I Become a Provider? and Service Provider Requirements sections. You may also contact the Community Resources Department at resources@sgprc.org.
